NASCAR SpeedPark teams up to help wounded warriors

PARC Foundation and Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated™ Partner with NASCAR SpeedPark

NOVEMBER 2012 – NASCAR SpeedPark® in Myrtle Beach, with its charitable arm PARC Foundation, is pleased to announce its partnership with Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated™ and Wounded Warrior Project to host the second annual Celebrate our Heroes event on November 10, 2012 from 11:00a – 4:00p at NASCAR SpeedPark, Myrtle Beach (1820 21st Ave N Ext).

Guests are encouraged to bring friends and family to the park for an entire day of fun, while supporting the cause of Wounded Warrior Project. NASCAR SpeedPark and PARC Foundation will make a donation to Wounded Warrior Project as part of this event. Wristbands are available to guests for $29.99+tax.

Veterans will receive complimentary wristbands and active military and their families will receive a $4 discount off every wristband purchased during the event. Wristbands include unlimited, all-day use of go-kart tracks, rock wall, mini golf and kiddie rides. There will be a Coca-Cola Fun Zone and children’s activities provided by Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated that will also be included with an Unlimited Ride Wristband.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated will be making a donation of up to $500 to Wounded Warrior Project for every empty Coca-Cola can or bottle brought in by guests attending the event. Wounded Warrior Project helps thousands of wounded warriors returning home from conflicts abroad and provides assistance to their families. The nonprofit has various programs which are structured to nurture the mind and body and encourage economic empowerment and engagement in Wounded Warriors.
