NASCAR SpeedPark to raise funds for True Purpose Ministries

Donations to benefit individuals ready for a second chance

MARCH 2015 – In partnership with True Purpose Ministries, NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains and its charitable arm, PARC Foundation, have launched a philanthropic campaign inviting guests to round up their in-park purchases to the nearest whole dollar. A portion of the proceeds will support True Purpose Ministries of Knoxville, Tenn. The campaign began in March and will continue through the end of May.

True Purpose Ministries is a Christ-based school of ministry that provides tools for individuals who have fallen on hard times to reintegrate back into society. It’s mission is to help individuals gain and retain long-term employment by learning the importance of accountability, responsibility and discipline. The school offers biblical discipleship, training in workforce trades and life skills.

“PARC Foundation is proud to support True Purpose Ministries,” said Bob Baldwin, Executive Director of PARC Foundation. “Organizations like True Purpose Ministries fit closely with our mission of strengthening communities. We are blessed to provide fundraising opportunities and community awareness for this organization at NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains.”
