Jack Kemp Award named after longtime public servant

PARC Foundation, PARC Management and Jack Kemp family team up to present annual award

JUNE 2009 – At Darien Lake, PARC Foundation along with PARC Management celebrates the life and work of Jack Kemp, by presenting an award annually to a local non-profit organization. Jack Kemp served both the Western New York community and the country as a role model, public servant and tireless advocate of those less fortunate, especially children and families. PARC Foundation is thrilled to join forces with the Kemp family an annual award that will both honor Mr. Kemp and inspire public service. In 2009 the award was presented to Hunter’s Hope, the Foundation established by Jill and Jim Kelly to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related Leukodystrophies. In addition, Hunter’s Hope strives to support and encourage those afflicted and their families as they struggle to endure, adjust and cope with the demands of these fatal illnesses.
