JULY 2013 – NASCAR SpeedPark® Myrtle Beach, with its charitable arm PARC Foundation, is pleased to announce its partnership with Coca‐Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated™ and Canine Angels to host the third annual Celebrate our Heroes event on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. at NASCAR SpeedPark (1820 21st Ave N Ext).

Veterans and active military will receive complimentary wristbands and their friends and family will receive a discounted wristband of $15. Wristbands include unlimited, all‐day use of six go‐kart tracks, rock wall, mini golf and kiddie rides. The event will include activities from 12 noon – 3 p.m. including the Coca‐Cola Refresh Crew’s Pit Crew Tire Challenge and the NASCAR Simulator. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the Canine Angels Service Dogs pack. Guests are encouraged to bring friends and family to the park for an entire day of fun. Special priced wristbands of $24.99+tax will be available in‐park for non‐veteran and military guests or those not entering with a veteran or active military. $1 from each wristband will be donated to Canine Angels, in care of PARC Foundation, the charitable arm of NASCAR SpeedPark. Canine Angels Service Dogs, a 501(c) 3 based in North Myrtle Beach, rescues dogs from local shelters to socialize and train to serve disabled veterans and first responders.

“PARC Foundation is committed to supporting community nonprofits in the Myrtle Beach community, and doing so through strategic partners like Coca‐Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is quite rewarding”, says Bob Baldwin, Executive Director of PARC Foundation, “We’re thankful for everything these Veterans and active military personnel have given and this is our opportunity to give back to them with a day of family fun at NASCAR SpeedPark.” To learn more about PARC Foundation and other local partnerships, please visit www.parc‐foundation.org. In addition to the $1 donation from wristbands, Coca‐Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated will make a $1 donation per can to Canine Angels for every empty Coca‐Cola can or bottle brought in by guests attending the event, up to $500. NASCAR SpeedPark will also be rounding up at registers for the month of November in support of Canine Angels.
