NASCAR SpeedPark to host United Way Amazing Race

Winning team will receive four dream vacation getaways

JANUARY 2015 NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains, the official family fun park of NASCAR®, is teaming up with United Way of Sevier County in partnership with its charitable arm, PARC Foundation, to host the Amazing Race on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at NASCAR SpeedPark.

Four-person teams are invited to race against the clock to record the fastest overall time compiled from four individual challenges. One member from each team will compete in a race to the top of the rock climbing wall, go-kart time trial, 1-mile run, and Sega Grid arcade racing simulation. Entry fees are $100 per team for early registration prior to February 18, 2015 and then increases to $120 per team. Each competing team member will receive an Amazing Race t-shirt as part of their registration fee. Members of the top three teams will receive medals. The winning team will receive four different vacation getaways, including a weekend stay at Grove Park Inn (Asheville, N.C.) and four days and three nights in Destin, Fla.
