PARC PROPERTIES SET OUT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY NONPROFITS
Jacksonville, FL ‐ (July 8, 2011) – PARC Foundation, the “Heart” of PARC Management has teamed up
with five nonprofits to raise funds and awareness of each organizations services in the local park’s
community. To promote the cause park employees at each of the PARC Management parks will be
asking customers if they would like to donate $1 or round up their ticket price during purchases. Park
guests can contribute to this campaign from July 4 – August 31st.
The five nonprofit organizations are Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition in St Louis, MO, Grand Strand
Miracle League in Myrtle Beach, SC, Kids Help Phone in Vaughan, ONT, Levine Children’s Hospital in
Concord, NC, and Smoky Mountain Children’s Home in Sevierville, TN.

the perfect way to bring awareness to local nonprofit organizations in the communities we serve”, says
Bob Baldwin, Executive Director of PARC Foundation.
PARC Foundation is committed to supporting other nonprofits that support the Foundations efforts in
strengthening children and families. With the Foundation’s support, each park will work hard to raise
funds through a community involvement. The Foundation has also been involved in providing support to
Lifework Leadership, the victims of the Haitian Earthquake, the inspiring Letters to God movie,
partnerships with the American Heart Association, and has donated thousands of NASCAR SpeedPark®
tickets to support a wide variety of local charitable organizations.
